The Rolex Datejust 31 features a 31 mm White Rolesor Oyster case, diamond-set domed bezel, dark grey diamond dial and Jubilee bracelet, powered by Calibre 2236.

Combining Oystersteel and white gold, the White Rolesor construction creates a refined contrast between the case and its diamond-set bezel. The dark grey dial features diamond detailing highlighted by a prominent Roman numeral VI adorned with 11 diamonds, bringing a distinctive jewellery-inspired character to the Datejust collection.

The 31 mm Oyster case incorporates a monobloc middle case, screw-down case back and Twinlock screw-down winding crown, providing water resistance to 100 metres (330 feet). A scratch-resistant sapphire crystal with a Cyclops magnifying lens enhances the visibility of the date display.

Powering the watch is the Rolex Manufacture Calibre 2236, a perpetual mechanical self-winding movement with approximately 55 hours of power reserve. Its Syloxi silicon hairspring with patented geometry and high-performance Paraflex shock absorbers contribute to reliable timekeeping, with precision rated at −2/+2 seconds per day after casing.

The movement features central hour, minute and seconds hands, an instantaneous date mechanism with rapid adjustment and a stop-seconds function for precise time setting. Bidirectional automatic winding is achieved through the Perpetual rotor.

Completing the design is an Oystersteel Jubilee bracelet with five-piece links and a concealed folding Crownclasp, providing a streamlined appearance that complements the diamond-set case and dial.
