Famous Stunts by Buster Keaton
Buster Keaton - The General (1926) - Train Stunt
The scene was shot in one take and Keaton performed many dangerous physical stunts on and around the moving train, including jumping from the engine to a tender to a boxcar, sitting on the cow-catcher of the slow moving train while holding a railroad tie, and running along the roof.
Buster Keaton - Sherlock Jr. (1924) - Motorcycle Stunt
Keaton famously always performed his own stunts and this was not the only accident on set. In this scene Keaton met with an accident when the bike he was riding skidded and smashed into two cameras, knocking over Eddie Cline and throwing Keaton onto a nearby car.
Buster Keaton - Steamboat Bill Jr. (1928) - Falling House Stunt
A cyclone hits, tearing down buildings and endangering the ships. As Canfield Jr. (Buster Keaton) makes his way through the town, a building front falls all around him. This is one of Keaton's best known stunt.
